Hindu Kush Mountains.<\/p>\n<p>Physically just the two of us, but we were there as a full team&#8230; Archil was the main reason we returned to Hindu Kush.<\/p>\n<p>The fate of the expedition was in doubt. The escalation of the war, uncertainty about permits to enter the region, yet we flew to Islamabad with hearts full of hope. Everything fell into place, we received the permit.<\/p>\n<p>We met many familiar faces and were very happy to see each other again. Children from mountain villages were waiting for gifts<\/p>\n<p>The effects of global warming changes were particularly visible in the mountains. Our climbs took place in conditions of increased risk of rocks and ice falling.<\/p>\n<p>The weather was consistently good.
